Annual General Meetings

    Every year the club holds a AGM this usually falls towards the end of January on the Monday after the annual dinner.

    The club also holds a "Mid-Year" meeting. This is where items are discussed & may be put forward for the main AGM in January.

    A typical AGM could involve points such as the below:

        Minutes of the previous AGM
        President’s report
        Secretary’s report
        Treasurer’s report
        Audax reports
        Open time trial reports
        Election of officers
        Marshalling Club Events
        Membership fees
        Any other business

    The AGM is where the Election and appointment of officers take place & gives all members the opportunity to vote or stand for various roles such as:

        General Secretary
        Membership Secretary
        Social Secretary
        Events Coordinator
        Junior Section Co-ordinator
        Promotion/Website Co-ordinator
        Committee Members

    The following are not committee posts and are generally volunteers rather than elected:

        Evening 10s
        Open Time Trials
        BCF Reps
        RTTC Reps
        Welfare Officer

    New roles are introduced if & when they are required.
