Membership survey

Josef completes his survey.

Many thanks to those of you who took part in our recent all-members survey. The response rate was in excess of 50%, which gave the club committee a real insight into what you're all thinking. 

 

You can see the full survey anlysis online by clicking here but the main recommendations that the committee will be taking forward are to: 

 

1. Make more use of the Clubhouse. Suggestions included: bike maintenance; quizzes; social events, indoor winter training.  

2. Organise more ‘leisure’ rides. These could attract new, potentially less confident members as well as fitting in with what existing members like to do.  

3. Organise some form of Club ‘holiday’. This was only specifically mentioned by one respondent, but a weekend away revolving around a sportive or audax would meet a lot of requests for more social activities and outings. 

4. Support any member who wants to take forward any of the other suggestions for additional activities.

 

So, if you have an idea that you'd like the Club to pursue, why not raise it in the Forum? If it gets support and is in line with the Club's vision for the future, it's highly likely that the Committee would back it and help you to make it happen.
